new altered art steampunk owl jewelry on Etsy and Folksy!

I love using orphaned bits of jewellery to make quirky creatures, and owls are a favourite creation of mine. I made these two using all kinds of pieces of filigree, a vintage trumpet brooch, the insides of a watch - anything that has interest, shape or texture.
They are both available on Etsy at http://www.etsy.com'shop/splendidemporium and http://www.folksy.com/shops/splendidemporium and can be worn as either brooches, pendants or simply hung on the wall as unusual ornaments.

In my mind's eye steampunk relic and watch parts necklace

A unique and whimsical necklace with a steampunk twist.
It features three antiqued brass cabochons inside which are contained three aged images of an eye, a skull and a skeleton. Adorning the images are a vintage watch hand, vintage gear or cog, and a vintage press stud. The chain measures approx 18 inches and can be shortened or lengthened as you prefer. Available on Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/listing/54199313/in-my-minds-eye-skeleton-skull-and-watch
